2016-2017 A Year to Remember

The 2016-17 Dallas High School sports season will go down as one of the most successful seasons in recent memory.

Fall 2016

Football reaches the semi-finals of the OSAA 5A state playoffs.  They finish the season ranked as the number 2 5A team in state according to Max Preps.

Winter 2016-17

Wrestling places 2nd in the 5A state playoffs.  The program remains a perennial powerhouse finishing in the top 5 year after year under coach Olliff’s leadership.

Girls Basketball reaches the 5A playoffs after a play in game win at home.  They lost a hard fought battle in the first round.

Spring 2017

Girls Softball finishes 2nd in the 5A state playoffs.  After finishing the league season undefeated the Dragons set multiple records on their way to the school’s best finish in softball.

Boys Baseball reaches the playoffs, winning a first round game before falling to league foe Cresent Valley in the quarter finals.

Track sends multiple athletes to the 5A state meet in Eugene.  Several Dragons placed in their individual events making for a great finish to the season.

Many records were broken and many individual state titles were had.  2016-17 was definitely the year of the Dragon.
